For every 20 copies of The Truth She Showed Me sold, one goes free to a domestic violence organization: shelters, advocacy centers, legal aid, survivor support groups. During October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, it's one in every 10.

Because the survivor who needs this book most is often the one with no money of her own. That isn't a coincidence. That's the abuse.
