About Christine
I did not come this far to shrink for anyone.
I'm Christine. For seventeen years I lived inside coercive control, holding up a facade built to be admired while it quietly took me apart. Nobody around me could see it. So I kept a record, so my children would one day have proof of what we lived. That record became The Truth She Showed Me. It turned out to be a map.
I'm a mother of two. I'm a Director at a Fortune 500 and an MBA graduate, which mostly means I'm very good at recognizing patterns, a skill that took me far too long to point at my own life. I live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and I say what I mean.
The book moves through three voices: the Mother who protected, the Survivor who knew, and the Sovereign who came back to herself. Healing isn't one version of you. It's all of her, coming home.
Now I talk about this every week on TikTok and YouTube, I speak to rooms that need to hear it, and I put free copies into shelters, because she shouldn't have to afford the words.

Is this abuse?
If you have asked yourself that question, even once, even quietly, you are in the right place. Join the list for new writing on what coercive control actually sounds like, events near you, and first word on what I'm building next. Occasional. No performance.
